Doing it Wrong, and Loving it

I changed my mind…

I woke up today and checked my emails AND according to my mother “YOU ARE WRONG. Star Trek’s Ending was PERFECT!” She went on to explain why in the most lore nerd way possible.

I’ve never smiled so big at an email, so she wins.

BUT KNOW THIS LINDELOF! I’ll be watching… waiting …

for the next time you slip up! And NEXT TIME…my mother won’t be there to save you!

jinaday64 asked: So Great Prophet of the Space Butterfly what PSX game would you recommend to a lore nerd like you I already have all the FF games and i seem to like the same kind of games as you so yeah

PSX?! Oh lord.. I don’t know if my brain goes back that far…

Chrono Cross is good if you played Chrono Trigger. But not nearly as a good of a game as the first (although it’s fun).

Vagrant Story is AMAZING. The gameplay and graphics might be a bit outdated now, but the story is fantastic.

The original silent hill? That might be good if you like what will be hilari-bad scares.

Parappa the rapper is a must, just so you know why people love it.

Lunar: Silver Star Story was a fun game, has some ok voice acting, a pretty cool plot.

I’ll assume you have Final Fantasy Tactics…

sooooooooo

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? If you don’t have that, you are missing the balls out on a great game!

…. I really can’t think of any other “must plays”. Most platformers I’d recommend go back to SNES or Genesis days, so I guess that’s it.

Damon Lindelof: My Moriarty

I am convinced Damon Lindelof, writer for Lost, Promethus, and Star Trek into Darkness is going out of his way to torture me and test me. I’ll post more when enough people see the new movie - but know this - I LOVED THIS MOVIE…and the man creates amazing stories and worlds filled with incredible lore… BUT is entirely unable to create resolution. AND IT’S INFURIATING….

I feel like by this time next week I’ll have a giant web of red string on my wall connecting him to every lackluster ending in movie history….

Anonymous asked: Are you fun to cuddle? I-I'm really not trying to be weird, I'm just curious ^^' And I'm sure the ladies would love to know~

I offer free demonstrations upon request.

modified-memories asked: You are just perfect. That is all I have to say.

I wish :(

No, sadly I’m horribly insecure about nearly every aspect of myself and thus over compensate by being ridiculous and overtly “manly”. I have a disturbing need to be liked, so I go out of my way to please everyone and fear that people will hate me if I say no. Hell, I have a weight problem that I spend weeks working on, then something stupid happens and I’m like “F it, I’m gettin’ 5 guys then”…. for 2 months. Yep… I’m far from perfect.

But I’m honored you think so.

As a history nerd..

I must ask, how are we just finding out about this now, and MORE IMPORTANTLY - When do we get the movie?! The entire thing sounds unreal, and thus ENTIRELY AWESOME: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/05/12/world-war-ii-s-strangest-battle-when-americans-and-germans-fought-together.html

“Days after Hitler’s suicide a group of American soldiers, French prisoners, and, yes, German soldiers defended an Austrian castle against an SS division—the only time Germans and Allies fought together in World War II. Andrew Roberts on a story so wild that it has to be made into a movie.”
